The client asked to carry a highly lipophilic veterinary active ingredient in a system for subcutaneous administration. The solution was achieved through the production of microspheres through the Spray Congealing technique. Some binary and ternary lipidic matrix systems were proposed in order to release the active ingredient in a predetermined and predictable way.
